Welcome to saralaa.com. Kindly read our terms and conditions before you proceed to use our website and mobile applications. These terms and conditions are a legally binding contract between you and saralaa. By continuing to use our website/mobile application we deem that you agree to our terms and conditions set out below. If you do not agree with our terms and conditions please stop using our website and mobile application. Saralaa also reserves the right to update and amend these terms and conditions at any time. The latest terms and conditions can always be found on our website and mobile application and will supersede any previous versions.

1.     Prohibited Use And Activities
You will not use our website/mobile application for any illegal or fraudulent purposes. In the event it comes to our notice that you are using our website/mobile application for such illegal purposes or that you fail to comply with any of the terms and conditions more fully described in this agreement, we will terminate your account without notice to you and you will no longer be able to use our services. 
 
2.     Our Liability
Although we at Saralaa strive to provide you with the best customer experience, we cannot guarantee that your orders will be fulfilled always.
·        Due to reasons beyond our control we may not be able to fulfill your orders always.
·   Some of your orders may be defective as we only sell items from third-party sellers and we do not manufacture them. ·        We cannot also guarantee that the content such as product descriptions, images, prices, photographs and other information on our website/mobile application are 100% accurate and error-free all the time.
·        In any such event saralaa cannot be held accountable for any loss or damage suffered by you, in using our website/mobile application.
 
3.     Intellectual Property
We are the owners of our website/mobile application’s content, software, logo, name and page designs etc. Stealing, misuse or reproduction of any of our intellectual property shall be unlawful and we have the right pursue legal action in any court of Sri Lanka
 
4.     Applicable Law
This agreement shall be governed by the Sri Lankan law and in the event of any dispute, controversy or claim arising from, out of or in connection with this contract, or on the interpretation thereof or on the rights, duties, obligation, or liabilities of any parties thereto or on the operation, breach, termination or invalidity thereof, shall be settled by arbitration in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka and the place of arbitration shall be Colombo.
 
5.     Methods of Payments
You can purchase our goods through our website/mobile application by credit/debit card payment and crypto currency.You can choose your payment method after adding items to your cart and we will charge you a delivery fee as well.
 
6.     Return and Refund
You may be allowed to return certain goods subject to certain conditions and you will be eligible for a refund. for more details, kindly go to our saralaa return and refund policy

7.     Order Cancellation
You can cancel your orders according to the terms and conditions set out in our order cancellation policy described in saralaa refund and return policy. However we may not be able to accept your order cancellation once we start processing your order and in such instances we reserve the right to refuse cancellation. 

8.     Shipping and Delivery
When you place an order through our website/mobile application, it will be delivered to your delivery address provided by you within 3to 4 working days. However kindly note that the delivery of your order may be delayed depending on the availability and the type and number of goods you have ordered and any unforeseeable circumstance or event.
 
Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy
  • a. Availability of COD
      •     COD is available only for eligible Products and delivery locations as determined by our logistics partners.
      •     Certain areas may not be serviceable under COD. Customers will be informed during checkout if COD is not available for their location.
      •     Customers must provide accurate address, contact details, and availability for delivery.
    b. Order Verification
    •     To prevent fraudulent transactions, COD orders may be subject to phone/email verification.
    •      Unverified or suspicious orders may be canceled without prior notice.
    c. Delivery & Handling Charges
    •      Additional COD handling charges may apply. Such charges (if any) will be displayed at checkout before you confirm your order.
    •      Standard shipping charges (if applicable) remain in effect for COD orders.
    •      COD orders must be paid in full at delivery. No partial payments allowed
    d. Customer Responsibilities
    •     Customers must ensure availability to receive the order at the delivery address.
    •     Exact cash payment must be made to the delivery agent at the time of delivery.
    •     ]Refusal to accept a valid COD order without a proper reason may result in restrictions on future COD purchases.
    e. Order Cancellations
    •     COD orders can be canceled before dispatch by contacting our customer support team.
    •      Orders canceled after dispatch or refused upon delivery may result in suspension of COD privileges for future purchases
    f. Returns & Refunds for COD Orders
    •     In case of product returns, refunds will not be provided in cash. Instead, refunds will be processed via bank transfer, store credit, or another approved method.
    •     Refund timelines may vary depending on banking procedures but generally take 7–14 business days.
    •     Customers must check the parcel upon delivery. Late complaints will not be accepted.
    •     Customers cannot demand courier staff to open parcels before payment (except in cases of approved open-box policy)
    •     Returns/refunds will follow platform’s return policy, but delivery charges may not be refunded.
    g. Delivery Attempts & Non-Delivery
    •     Our courier partner will attempt delivery up to two times.
    •     If the order cannot be delivered due to unavailability or refusal to pay, the order will be canceled.
    •     Repeated non-deliveries may lead to blacklisting of the customer from COD service.
    h. Restrictions
    •     COD is not available for international orders.
    •     Customized, perishable, or high-value items may not qualify for COD.
    •     We reserve the right to withdraw COD service for specific products at any time.
    i. Fraud Prevention & Rights
    •     We reserve the right to deny COD service to customers with a history of fraudulent activity, repeated refusals, or misuse of the service.
    •      Any suspicious orders may be canceled at our discretion.
    By selecting COD at checkout, you agree to abide by the above terms and conditions. These policies are designed to ensure fairness, reduce fraud, and provide a reliable service to all customers.
     
    9.     Promotions and Discounts
    We may offer you promotions and discounts on products from time to time reserving the right to end such promotions and discounts at any time without any notice.
